CODE OF CONDUCT

Code of conduct defines the fundamental rules for employees, including Board of Management of the Max Powder Coatings Viet Nam (hereinafter known as “Max” or “The Company”). Third parties (consultants, suppliers, agents, independent contractors, etc.) who act on behalf of the Company are expected to adhere to the principles set out in the Code.

The Code of Conduct sets minimum standards of behavior to be observed and provides specific rules of conduct in relation to the following issues: fair conduct of business, sustainability, promotion of diversity and inclusion, assets and business data protection, personal information and privacy, conflicts of interest, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, customer relations, fair competition and antitrust, supplier selection, financial information and insider dealing, communicating, anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing and international sanctions.

Reporting concerns and incorrect conducts

The Company encourages Employees to report concerns on practices or actions they consider to be factually or potentially in breach of law, the Code of Conduct and the other internal regulations (e.g. discriminations, harassment, bullying, mobbing, corruption and bribery, etc.) in written form to Compliance function:bộ quy tắc ứng xử

Reports must be adequately detailed in the description of the circumstances of the alleged violation. Complaints without sufficient details cannot be considered. Although where permitted by local law anonymous reports are accepted, we believes that the investigation of any report will be more effective if the identity of the person submitting the report is known, this is why it is encouraged complainants to disclose their identity while submitting a report.

Reports can be made personally or anonymously, in writing or orally, and are treated with strict confidentiality according to the law and the provisions of the relevant internal regulations.

Max strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who reports in good faith, no matter whom the report involves.

Please note that these channels should not be used to submit Customers’ concerns related to the products or services provided by the Company, since they should be communicated through the appropriate, specific channels according to the provisions set out in the relevant contractual documentation, in compliance with local legislation.
